After a successful return to an ‘in person’ convention this year, the Australia Japan Business Council of Victoria is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2024 APCC BRIDGE Summer Camp, which will be held for approximately 10 days from the middle of July 2024. To be eligible, children must have been born between 1st August 2012 and 31st July 2013.

This is a unique event, which allows approximately 180 eleven-year-old children from 43 regions around the Asian Pacific rim as well as sister cities in USA, France and Peru to share in a truly international exchange and we highly recommend this opportunity being offered to Victorian students who learn Japanese at school. Students should apply via their school.

Ask questions or apply by emailing Heather Darbyshire, AJBCV-APCC Liaison Officer at requesting your application documents.

Applications close Wednesday 14th February 2024.

Yōsuke Kanno Memorial Scholarship

In collaboration with the Victorian State Government, the AJBCV hosts tertiary students from Japan to further their studies at universities and other institutions in Melbourne.

The AJBCV also manages Australia-Japan exchange scholarships for Victorian high school students who would otherwise not have the opportunity to visit Japan.

Our scholarships program is an enduring and rewarding experience for young students and their families. It is an important “grass roots” initiative enabled by the generous sponsorship of our member organisations.
