our advocacy work

The National Federation of Australia Japan Societies

The AJBCV is a member of the NFAJS, which is the national body representing all the Australia Japan Societies around Australia, including 13 societies across every state and territory. The NFAJS committee meets every one to two months, providing a forum for knowledge sharing, collaboration and networking and seeks to coordinate activities between states and raises the profile of member societies and their activities.

The NFAJS holds a conference every two years with members societies sharing the opportunity to host. The conferences attract high profile attendees from government business and community in both countries and provide a platform to showcase and celebrate the successes and hard work of societies and business councils towards the strengthening of the bilateral relationship.
